Associate Pastor 

Pastor Mike has been at Saline First Assembly since August, 2007.  He is the Associate and Student Ministries Pastor.  He and his wife, Stacy, graduated from Southeastern University, Lakeland, Florida in April of 2007:  Mike with a B.S. in Pastoral Ministry and Stacy with a B.S. in Psychology.

Christian Education Pastor 

Pastor Sherry serves as the director of Christian Education for the church. As such, she oversees the Sunday school, Children’s Church, and Beginner’s Church departments. Pastor Sherry has been involved with the Assemblies of God since November 1969. She has served in many different areas of several churches – including treasurer, bookkeeper, teacher of all ages, nursery coordinator and Boys and Girls Missionary Crusade (BGMC) coordinator. Her dedication to Sunday school and Children’s Church covers several years and is one of her strongest areas of ministry. She has two sons and 8 grandchildren (six granddaughters and two grandsons – the grandsons were born on the same day eight years apart. She calls them her bookends as all the girls were born in-between.)

The A B Cs of Salvation

Knowing your sins are forgiven and you are ready for Heaven is the most important thing you can ever do with your life! It’s as simple as following these steps:

Admit

you have sinned.  “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23

Believe

in Jesus.  “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

Confess

and leave your sin behind.  “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)

So, Why Not Respond to God Right Now by Talking with Him (that’s called prayer):
Pray this simple prayer, and if you mean it with all your heart Jesus will hear you, forgive you, and save your soul from the wrath to come:

Lord Jesus, I believe you are God’s Son, and that you died in my place on the cross. Thank you for your sacrifice that paid the price of punishment for my sins. I repent of my sins by turning away from the things I have done that Jesus never would have, and I ask you to forgive me.  I receive you now as my Lord and Savior.  Please come into my heart now and help me to live for you every day. Amen.
