Who We Are

This church is made up of people just like you. Common, ordinary people from all walks of life who love the Lord, and have a vision to make sure as many people as possible hear the good news of Jesus Christ’s saving grace.

Along the pathway to that goal, we worship the Lord with all our might, help each other grow in the grace and the knowledge of Jesus, and reach out compassionately to our community to be a blessing to others. We invite you to explore this website to get a better understanding of who we are, what we believe, where we are, and where we’re going.

The warm love and positive attitude of the people of Saline First Assembly of God will encourage you along the way on your own faith journey and give you hope for tomorrow. Working together we’ll all get closer to God than any of us could get alone.

Come and visit us any time…you’re always welcome. Encounter the love, joy, and peace of the Holy Spirit while being among some of God’s choicest servants in a beautiful worship setting. It’s an experience that you won’t forget!

Love,
Saline First Assembly of God Pastoral Staff

Our Beliefs

We Believe…
The Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God.

There is one God, eternally existent in three persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years.

The blessed hope, the rapture of the Church at Christ’s coming.

The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ.

Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation.

The redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer.

In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.

The baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4 is given to believers who ask for it.

In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.

Our Vision

That They May Know!
That They May Grow!
That They May Go!

We have a vision to see the lost saved, across the street and across the sea, and to see the saved baptized in the Holy Spirit.
We have a vision to provide a full gospel environment in which one can freely worship the Lord Jesus Christ as the Spirit leads, regardless of style.

We have a vision to supply adults, youth, and children with a quality education in, experience of, and encounter with, the triune Godhead.
We have a vision to equip people for God’s service and provide them avenues to engage in that service.
We have a vision to be Christ’s hand extended to those with physical and spiritual needs in our church and in the community.
We have a vision to help people see the relevance of the Bible and the importance of prayer in their daily lives.

We have a vision to provide a safe harbor into which anyone can sail and know they will be welcome and among friends.
